1、 How it works
In the U-shaped groove with two or more screw shafts is called multi axis screw conveyor. Due to the rotation of the screw body, the material moves axially so as to achieve the feeding purpose. It is mainly used for conveying powdery materials. It works in horizontal condition and is suitable for feeding under silo. In order to achieve uniform feeding and adjust feeding capacity, the system uses electromagnetic speed regulating motor or frequency converter to adjust the speed of feeder conveniently to meet the requirements of actual feeding amount.
2、 Performance characteristics
The difference between multi axis screw conveyor and single shaft screw conveyor is that the quantity of multi axis screw conveyor is more than twice as much as that of single shaft screw conveyor, which saves time and increases production for customers;
It has mixing function. No matter which direction the single shaft screw conveyor is running, the mixing and mixing function is not specified. However, for the multi axis screw conveyor, the screw shafts on both sides turn to different directions (Note: both screw shafts turn inward). Therefore, when the material is put into the feed port, it will automatically rotate the material to the middle and mix it together.
Multi axis screw conveyor can also be installed with different screw shafts according to different requirements. The amount of conveying is more than that of single shaft, but the handling capacity is not very large. Therefore, two spiral shafts can be installed. According to the different quantities, it can be appropriately increased, but the increase is generally even, which can be increased to 6. If the length is different, the mixing degree will be different. If the length is short, the time from the inlet to the outlet will be shorter, the mixing and mixing degree will be lighter and the length will be longer. The time from the material inlet to the outlet will be longer, the mixing times will be more and the degree will be heavier.
In terms of motor power, it depends on the length and the degree of several spiral shafts. The longer the length is, the more spiral shafts are. The greater the motor power should be selected. On the contrary, the shorter the length is, the less the number of spiral shafts is. Therefore, the smaller the motor power is. According to the length of the plant site selection, if the length of the plant is limited, the one with more screw shaft and shorter length can be selected appropriately. If the plant site is long enough and the width is not enough, the screw shaft will be less and the length will be appropriately long, so that the conveying capacity will not be greatly affected.
